Great race that ended on a sour note with the yellow and complete bullshit penalty on the #555 458. I really hope we don't see these Nascar yellows more often. (more below)

Talking about the P2 cars and their lack of pace, high downforce and less power is not going to help you on a track like Daytona. If their pace at Sebring is lacking then I'll be worried. Anyway, happy to see Sebastien Bourdais and Action Express pull thought despite the mechanical problems. Thought the Corvette DP dominated the race, I was kind of surprised to see the Ford Riley's being competitive. I wouldn't be surprised if they won Sebring.

As for GTLM, yes a Core Porsche won, but who the hell thought RLL and BMW would be the ones that came out in the best position (2nd and 4th)?! I didn't. It was also surprising many major mechanical problems there were.

Overall, I optimistic about TUSC it's future, but really hope we don't have anymore NASCARness ruining it.

BS NASCAR competition yellow aside, I thought it was a fantastic race and I highly enjoyed every minute of it.

So the race ended under a caution? I had no way of viewing the race, but checked the timing and the final stats made it appear as if the finish across all of the classes was very close and exciting. I guess it was too good to be true though.

And what do you mean when you says 2nd and 4th are the best positions? And as I didn't catch the race, what was some of the BS NASCAR stuff going on?

There was a completely BS yellow 2o mins before the race ended just so the racing could be close. Green flag resumed with around 8 minutes left.

As for RLL, because their two Z4s finished 2nd and 4th, I'm 90% sure they are leading the manufacturer and team championship right now.

Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, that yellow is BS.

Overall though, they did a nice job for the most part on the PC, GTLM, and GTD classes, but P was a complete joke, at least at Daytona. I know this was the first race and they still have a lot to learn, but something tells me this is just going to be a messy first season. The scheduling is so confusing, and only at a few races do all of the classes actually race together.

They either need to ditch PC and put the DP cars in their place, and let the P2 cars utilize their full potential, or keep PC and implement regulations for an entirely new sort of car. Then they need to stop accepting a million entries, and have all cars race at all 12 races.

Looking forward to the future for these cars.

IF the Ferrari didn't go wide coming out of the bus stop at the end there, BMW/Joey Hand would've had a head of steam with him and given the Porsche a race for their money in GTLM. If not for the Ferrari going wide into the BMW out of the bus stop, i say Joey Hand passes the Porsche
